The faces and places of Hanoi in summer 2014

Early morning market in Hanoi

Hanoi, in the northern part of Vietnam, is an amazing, colourful and vibrant city where there is always something happening on every corner and ever street.  It is perhaps one of the most enjoyable cities for capturing the everyday life of people and the city itself.  While some visitors to the city can be overwhelmed at first -  it is important to just stop and watch what is going on around you.  The following images depict some of the everyday life in Hanoi and tries to capture the beauty of this great city.  The images were all shot with the Olympus OM-D E-M1 and Panasoinc GH4 using several main lenses.  These lenses used were the Olympus 12mm, Voigtlander 17.5mm and Panasonic Leica 42.5mm Nocticron lens.

These are fantastic images, my friend. A lot have unique, original points of view. Some of my personal favourites are "Through the Bars," Pomegranates," and "Legs and red shoes." Glad you updated your blog with these :-)

Thanx Bjorn - much appreciated! I will keep updating my blog over the next couple of weeks - I do have a lot to post and talk about. I am thinking a post with about the Sony A7r is well and truly overdue.
