Its been a little while in between posts. The last 4 weeks have been extremely busy in all regards. On the photography side I have been continuing to do shoot after shoot (including a little playing with a Sony NEX in an unmaned areial vehicle UAV). I have been using the Panasonic GH3 for more and more video these days and coupled together with the 17.5mm Voigtlander lens it is a brillant combination (ohhh - and a variable ND filter helps as well). Last week as I prepare for some new adventures I decided it was time to take my favourite Olympus 12mm lens to the streets of Brisbane and see what I could shoot. You will know from the photos how close I had to shoot to the subject to get some of the photos - but with this lens, it is a pleasure to use. I like to capture the surroundings and the people. If I am chasing portrait style photos - then I often aim for something like the Olympus 45mm f/1.8 or the amazing Olympus 75mm f/1.8. The photos were all taken with the trustworthy Olympus OM-D E-M5.
